2017 MVFC Pre-Season All-Conference Team (PDF)
Reigning Missouri Valley Football Conference co-champions North Dakota State and South Dakota have the most honorees on this year's MVFC pre-season all-league unit as announced by the league office today. Voting was conducted by a league panel consisting of coaches, media and sports information directors.
Both NDSU and SDSU have 10 selections on the teams, including a league-best nine first-team selections for the Jackrabbits. Every league team has at least two players who earned selection to the pre-season unit. Youngstown State, which reached last year's FCS title game, and Illinois State, a 2016 playoff participant as well, both placed four on the first-team unit, following SDSU's nine and NDSU's seven selections.
The MVFC will announce its pre-season poll Tuesday, July 25, at 9 am CT.
