The first FCS preseason poll for 2024 comes from HERO Sports, and six Missouri Valley Football Conference schools are in the Top 25.    South Dakota State and North Dakota State headline the list of MVFC members as they clock in at No. 1 and No. 2 in the poll.   South Dakota, Southern Illinois, Youngstown State, and Illinois State are also ranked.
